Mumbai, March 28^th 2018: After organizing several major squash events very successfully, across the country, Rolling Nicks Sports Foundation (RNSF) proudly brings the Indian Premier Squash League, 2018 (IPSL 2018) to Mumbai.  The event is being curated by the founder of the Rolling Nicks Sports Foundation, Abhinav Sinha, a renowned professional squash player turned coach, and will take place in May 2018, at the very prestigious Cricket Club of India (CCI). This is the first time that international squash will be presented in an exciting league format with teams that include India’s most promising Junior National champions, like Yash Fadte, Yoshna Singh, Parth Ambani, etc. who will compete alongside international pros such as Elvinn Keo (Malaysia best rank 5; PSA ranking 165) as well as seasoned masters such as Manish Chotrani, Dalip Triptahi, etc. Several other top junior players from India have shown interest in the league including Aryan Parekh, Advait Adik, Devay Mehta, Amita Gondi, Amira Singh, Shreyas Mehta.

Fitness icon Gul Panag, joined Abhinav Sinha and squash veteran Rishad Pandole (who has held the India No. 1 titles in the Under-19 and Over-35 category) at the announcement event of the IPSL today, along with Mr. Nawal Pandole, Vice Chairman of the CCI & Head of the CCI Squash Committee. The event also kicked off a match series against South African Players in different age categories organized by Rolling Nicks, to encourage international exposure for Indian players.

With the formal announcement of the IPSL, teams are now available for purchase, and are being quickly bought by supporters of the elite sport. The President of the Women’s Chapter of the YPO, Ami Ambani and Gaurav Motwane have already placed their bids for teams.

The Orchid Mumbai, Asia’s first Ecotel Hotel celebrated Earth Hour on 28^th March 2018 from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm. With this initiative The Orchid Mumbai reaffirmed its firm commitment in maintaining a strong Environment Program that helps raise awareness about climate change. As part of this Energy saving activities the hotel dimmed or switched off all non essential lights at its interiors and exteriors for an hour. While the guest corridor lights were switched off alternatively, the lobby bracket lights and lobby fountain area under water lights were completely switched off. There were minimum lights in the main porch area and alternative street lighting arrangements were made from hotel entry to exit.

This exercise encouraged the The Orchid Mumbai’s esteemed patrons in conserving energy while also enabling them to witness many memorable experiences during Earth Hour. The Hotel hosted an exclusive candle light dinner for its guests with wide choice of themed dishes set in a unique environment. A traditional rangoli adorned the entrance while warm candles ignited the restaurant dining tables. The students of RESONANCE have shown outstanding results in NTSE  Stage 1, Bihar. The Managing Director of RESONANCE, Mr. RK Verma informed that in the declared results of NTSE Stage-1, total 373 students are selected for the stage-2 examination and out of the 11 students are from RESONANCE.

Details of the selected students are as follows:

5 Students Tej Pratap Singh, Anshuman, Aditya Ranjan, Keshav Anand and Aman Yadav  are classroom students from Patna study Centre, 5 students are from Workshop and 1 student is from Distance Learning Programme Division (DLPD). This year, NTSE Stage-1 examination was conducted on 5th November 2017 in the state itself and the results were declared on 15 March 2018 by SCERT, Bihar. The outcome has been set up on the premise of 99 marks in General Category, 83 marks in SC category, 97 marks in ST Category and 56 marks in PH respectively.

The National Talent Search Examination is a merit-based scholarship examination for class 10th students. It is conducted in two stages. It is one of the most prestigious scholarship examination in India. NTSE examination can be taken by Indian students as well as Indian students studying abroad.

Around 4000 students get selected for the second round from all over India. Out of these, usually 1000 students will be selected for final scholarship of Rs. 1250/- per month which will be provided to them till class-12 and afterwards, they will get Rs. 2000/- per month to complete their education.

The Company is planning to sell the product through indirect channel (Retailers, distributors) as well as direct channel i.e. direct supplies to the big customers. Some of the customers segment/market which have been identified as target customers are Catering industry, Hotel industry, Restaurants chains, Supermarkets, Online Grocery stores, Events, corporate clients etc. Water is a must requirement in all the events and gatherings and by offering varieties in water, company is creating a unique Niche that has large market prospects. Company plans to add more flavors later in a systematic and planned manner and also provide the option of customized flavors in direct channel (Big Event, Catering or Hotel etc.).

Speaking on the launch, Mr. Akshay Solanki, Promoter and Director of Shreeyum Foods Pvt. Ltd., said, “Flavored water industry in India is still at very nascent stage with no established player in Non-sugary infused water category but with the growing health consciousness, India is not very far from demanding and adopting flavored water. The Concept of Infused water is generation old in India but is diminishing with time. Bottled water Industry is growing much faster than carbonated drinks in India, mirroring a global trend as consumers are going off from sugary beverages. Packaged water industry is growing at rate of 23-25% per annum. Indian Bottled Water consumption was 6.8 Billion in 2015-16 and 8.2 Billion Liters (approx.) in 2016-17. Carbonated drinks consumption has been approx. 5.6 Billion Liters in 2016-17.Both together accounting for approximately 14 Billion Liters in a Year which is 3.83 crore Liters in day and it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 22%. However Flavored Water Industry is still at a very Nascent Stage in India with no big player in Non-Sugary infused water category.
